River-Side Home Lift & Foundation Rebuild: Structural Restoration from the Ground Up

Years of riverside exposure had taken a toll on this single-family home's foundation and floor framing, with moisture compromising the original footings and causing significant rot throughout the floor joist system. Lakeshore Construction Group performed a full structural rebuild: the entire house was carefully lifted off its failing foundation using cribbing and steel support beams, temporary bracing held the structure secure while a new foundation was poured and cured, and the deteriorated wood floor joists were removed and replaced entirely. With the structural work complete, the team also replaced the home's exterior siding; transforming it from its original brown finish to a fresh blue, while the interior walls, finishes, and living spaces remained entirely untouched throughout the process.
